2010 – Iki-shi, Nagasaki-ken, Japan, Earth

02-18 / “R” is for “Ramen”

Pure salty deliciousness. An example of the deliciousness available at our friendly, neighborhood ramen shop.  This bowl is a startling 500 yen, or about $5.50, and it can be upgraded with extra noodles, an egg, and more meat.  We usually go to ramen after taiko practice on Thursday, but it’s not as important of a tradition as Friday Night Curry (even though Ava and I reneged today!  AHH!).

  1. Looks so much better than that nasy cardboard ramen they sell in bulk here in the states! 🙂
