2010 – Iki-shi, Nagasaki-ken, Japan, Earth

03-13

Bwahahahaha! We take (another) break from our regularly scheduled Engrish programming to bring you: Kat is immature.

Spotted these lovely statues along the side of the road while I was biking around Iki today.  They’re about knee-height and part of, I think, a small shrine about eight feet from the statues.  The rectangular containers in the front are for alms.

I will readily admit that I saw these and had a bit of a laugh.  Not quite as good as the out-and-out fertility shrine downtown, but a hilarious surprise, nonetheless.
