2010 – Iki-shi, Nagasaki-ken, Japan, Earth

The Gaijin Taiko Troupe strikes again!Eight-ish months of (not-so) intense practice culminated in our stellar performance at the Hydrangea Festival.  (See the background.)  We rocked the socks off the 20 or 30 people in the audience with our mad drumming skillz.  And then we loafed around for awhile.  Drank some matcha tea made special in traditional tea ceremony style.  Looked at some traditional flower arrangements.  Got hungry and went for hamburgers.

…wait, that’s not Japanese.

Anyway, I had a great weekend.  Guy and I were really tired.  And every time I see Guy now, I just have to laugh and say “Ahahaha your goalie was SO FUNNY” and he just grumbles about how America didn’t win, England just lost.  (Yes, I’m discussing the world cup.)
