This is the koi tank visible from another of my middle schools (also the smallest one on the island). This was my old Vice Principal’s pride and joy. He’d be out cleaning it and feeding the koi and… well, I don’t know how you maintain these things, but he took care of it a lot. He was also very particular about that plant in the middle.
Now the pool/pond/tank thing tends to get a little dirty. It’s still nice to see the koi, though. (There are a lot.) Apparently you can eat koi, but it’s not very delicious.
Still raining. The five straight days of rain made my house mold. The floors. The walls. Anything with any former moisture. I hung clothes to dry. They didn’t dry. It’s so humid it’s insane.
