2010 – Iki-shi, Nagasaki-ken, Japan, Earth

Choo-choo...I must’ve driven past this at least a hundred times.  And yet I never noticed.  Possibly because it’s so out of place that my brain just refused to compute.

Let me reiterate that I live on an island.  A small island.  It would take about an hour to drive the circumference of this island, and the only reason it takes so long is because the roads are too twisty and hilly.  There was never any need for a train, let alone a steam powered one.  I asked one of my friends, and she said someone had brought the train onto Iki so “Children can play on it.”

Well… all right.  Chalk another crazy up to Japan.  I do love Japan.  🙂
