2010 – Iki-shi, Nagasaki-ken, Japan, Earth


MmmmmmmJust feel like showing off mine, Ava’s, and Ozeki-san’s cookie baking Skillz.  These are the best damn batch of snickerdoodles I’ve ever made.  Super soft, perfectly sweet, just enough cinnamon, and fluffy as all get-out.  Recipe here (<— clickable).  I used shortening rather than butter and also baked at 375F (190C).

    Man, those look so perfect… Mine never come out so pretty. You’re pretty handy with that camera, you know. Wanna take my author photo for me?? 😉

      I was pretty shocked that they looked so nice. My snickerdoodles usually taste great, but look stooopid. And if you would like to appear magically in Paris when I’m there, why then I would be happy to take your author photo. But I don’t think that’d be any less expensive than hiring someone who would probably take a better photo, anyway =P
